Small village Palupõhja in the middle of Alam-Pedja Nature reserve by the river Emajõgi. Barn Swallows and House Martins are already migrating and find the electric wires good for resting and socializing. There are several other birds - Greenfinches, Pied Wagtail, Great Tits, Chiffchaff, Magpies, Eurasian Jay, Golden Oriole, Bullfinch vocalizing next to the farm houses, you can also hear alarm calls of Robin and Blackbird. Farther from the riverplain we hear occasional calls of Grey Herons and very faintly the buzzing song of a Savi's Warbler.
